For more than two years we have been working with state-of-the-art materials plus the all new Nanolith resins to produce a pole with enormous strength.
The special high modulus carbons and resins are used in the production of ultra strong carp rod blanks and beach casters, as well as being present within the wind surfing mast production that has won countless awards for strength and durability by Reglass SPA worldwide.
Our reasons for producing a pole of such strength is due to the enormous growth of pole angling at popular commercial venues. If you look at venues like my own Maver Larford Lakes, the carp have grown to specimen sizes. It’s now not uncommon to hook fish as big as 30lbs or more.
To land fish of such proportions, tackle has to be up to the job. Extremely heavy elastics and monofilament are common place within the match anglers armoury. I’ve seen many anglers trying to land fish of 20lbs or more and sections 4, 5 and 6 are always at risk from any manufacturer unless extreme care is taken.
The new Invincible has enormous wall strength and is quite capable of lifting a 2 kilo dead weight.
As the top 5 is compatible with all of our Competition range, lighter kits can be utilised for an overall weight saving, but if its extreme strength that’s required, the genuine Invincible kits must be used.
It’s fair to say that this is the strongest pole we’ve ever produced and is the ultimate pole for big fish on commercials. It can also be fished as a power margin or line to hand pole that will swing specimen fish to hand with confidence.
The same materials are used in the production of our Competition Margin pole which has sold in some considerable numbers with no breakages at all reported!
On field tests I’ve personally used this pole to catch, believe it or not, Salmon to 15lbs. Now that’s a serious field testing – think about it.
Don’t just take our word for it, go into your local Maver Dealership and feel the wall strength. The action and balance for such a powerhouse pole will impress you.
Arguably the Invincible must be rated as one of, if not the strongest pole in the World!
